Now, one thing you want to be concentrating on here is keeping your legs no lower than a 45 degree angle as if you were to use the traditional method for this exercise you will find yourself getting a bit of a sore back. That’s because if you do this with arched back you are going to be placing the strain on your lumber spine. That’s not good and any exercise done with an arched back can lead to back problems further down the road.

 

I don’t know about you but back problems and bodybuilding doesn’t sound like a great combination. I sure wouldn’t want to be trying weight lifting with a bad back.

So anyway,

To perform the Lying Leg Thrust…

 

You would first position yourself flat out on the floor. Raise your head and shoulders just above the floor level. Bring your legs up to a 90 degree angle. Lower them down to no lower than 45 degrees. Then work in the 2nd part of the exercise which is to it with a hip thrust for the second part of 1 rep. With your palms flat beside you, push your hips off the floor and perform the same exercise. Hips raised, legs from 45 degrees back to 90 then slowly back to start the next rep with your hips back on the floor then repeat for the amount of reps you will be doing.

 

This is a great exercise for those wanting to learn how to gain muscles quickly without weights.

 

Of course you would need to have the right diet in place. There isn’t any ways to get big fast and gain weight quickly if you don’t feed your body the right nutrients. With proper bodybuilding diet you will be able to gain weigh muscle naturally. You can then workout, gain weight, repeat the process and have a lean muscular body fast.
